Ready to enter your published author era?
Join the Author Entryway: A six-week workshop to kickstart your author journey.
Led by 4x author Lindsay MacMillan.
We begin in February.
Write the foundation of your book and receive a personalized publishing plan…in just six weeks.
The Author Entryway is a small-cohort incubator for aspiring authors who want clarity, momentum, and real feedback, without making a huge commitment (just yet).
Part high-touch coaching, part sacred creative circle, this is the on-ramp to becoming a published author. Over six weeks, you’ll move from “I have an idea” (or a messy draft) to a polished pitch, a strong outline, and a clear, personalized roadmap for publishing your book.
Investment: $1,500
Cohort size: 10 writers max
Includes: Weekly group calls on Zoom + weekly 1:1 feedback/editing in a shared Google doc (up to 1,000 words/week)
This is for you if you’re…
Feeling the call to write your book but don’t know where to start
Overwhelmed by publishing (Agents? Proposals? Self-publishing? Your author platform?)
Craving accountability, community, and personalized guidance that actually moves your project forward
Ready to invest in your book and build a plan…without a huge commitment just yet
This program blends both the strategic with the soulful. Deep transformation happens here!
Not a fit if you want to outsource your book to a ghostwriter or to AI, or if you’re looking for a passive course with no accountability.
What you’ll have by the end of the six-week program…
You’ll walk away with:
A clear pitch and one-pager for your book (ready to share with agents, editors, or collaborators)
A complete, actionable outline
Your first two chapters drafted
A competitive analysis (positioning + comps so you know where your book fits in the market)
A confident understanding of the publishing process and your next steps
Meditation and nervous system regulation tools to move through mindset blocks and drop into flow state
A personalized publishing roadmap to traditionally publish (land an agent/book deal) or self-publish your book for <$10k, depending on your goals
Testimonials from Program Graduates
"I came to Lindsay with a book idea but a lot of questions about how to actually bring it into the world. She's a book oracle: She saw my vision for the book immediately and helped me decide the right publishing methods for the vision. Ultimately, I decided to self publish and Lindsay was there with me the whole way: Giving feedback on the outline, holding me accountable to actually getting words on the page, and walking me through how to find a team to make the book as high quality as possible. During my launch, her support was invaluable, too. She knew what I might experience and was able to keep me steady through the emotional ups and downs. My book is in the world because of Lindsay's support, no doubt about it. She brings an incredible combination of strategy, creativity, precision and intuition to the process. I can't recommend her more highly!"
— Jenni Gritters, The Sustainable Solopreneur (2025)
“Coming out of Lindsay’s program, I had a book proposal, a query letter, and a new clarity in the direction my book was taking. These milestones were massively accelerated by this program. Shortly after finishing Lindsay's program, I signed with an agent and got my first book deal with Hachette! As a brand new author and someone with a corporate background, I appreciated Lindsay’s clear feedback which both met me where I was at while also holding me to a new standard in my writing. I’d recommend this program to anyone who wants to get into action and accelerate their book project, whatever stage it is in.”
— Brooke Taylor, Healing the Success Wound (Hachette, 2026)
"Lindsay’s program for authors was truly transformative for me. I joined with what felt like a very distant dream of finding an agent and building a real path toward publication. Lindsay made that dream feel concrete. Her guidance, feedback, and industry insight were so clear and actionable that I ended up signing an incredible agent, and my book is now moving confidently toward submission. It has been surreal watching this dream come to life, and I could not be more thankful for her guidance. Before working with Lindsay, I had a real mental block about my ability to land an agent. I knew how competitive and challenging the process could be, and I struggled to imagine myself breaking through.
Lindsay changed that for me. She broke everything down into manageable, accurate steps and taught me how to present my book in a way that reflects both its potential and my voice as an author. One of the first things my agent said was, “Who taught you how to write a proposal like this? It is so strong.” My answer: Lindsay taught me!! What stands out most about Lindsay is the mix of warmth, honesty, and deep industry knowledge she brings to every session. She understands the publishing world at a level most people never see, and she shares that knowledge in a way that is encouraging, empowering, and easy to act on. I cannot recommend her program more."
— Sam Alvita, Work Rewritten (2027)

Weekly cohort sessions (Zoom)
These live sessions are the heartbeat of the container.
