I wrote my first book at eighteen to process my parents' divorce. It never got published. Neither did the next four.

For years, I worked a corporate job, feeling like I was drifting further from my creative calling. The dream of becoming an author felt like a beautiful, unreachable pipedream. Rejection after rejection. Silence. Self-doubt. But still, something inside me wouldn’t let go of the vision.

I just knew I was meant to write books and boldly share them with the world. When it would have been so easy to quit on myself, that inner voice never let me. It always believed. It always knew, even when my conscious mind didn’t.

So I kept going, learning and getting better and growing, failing and getting back up. I read absolutely everything I could about publishing, took all the courses and workshops, and most importantly, I consistently showed up for myself and believed that the dream would come true.

Then in 2020, everything shifted. I signed with my first literary agent. Since then, I’ve landed four book deals with Big Five publishers, including Penguin and HarperCollins. I’ve gone on national book tours, given four TEDx talks, been interviewed by Katie Couric and CNBC, and built a brand where I get paid to create and help others do the same.

But more importantly, I’ve grown so much, manifested a life and career that my younger self wouldn’t even believe, and become the version of myself who trusts that little voice inside.

That’s why I created The Author Channel.
